Thank you to everyone who came out to Ugly Duckling this season and helped make our RuPaul’s Drag Race viewing parties in Portland, Maine so fun, welcoming, loud, hilarious, and unforgettable. From week to week, you brought the energy, the reactions, the looks, and the love — and we loved every minute of it.
What started as a weekly watch party turned into one of our favorite nights of the season: a room full of people coming together for drag, drinks, food, community, and a really good excuse to go out on a Friday night in Portland.
Whether you came every week or just joined us for the finale, thank you for being part of it.
And don’t worry — this is not the end.

Our RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 18 Viewing Party is Portland, Maine’s most inclusive Friday night event, combining the excitement of Season 18 with great food, desserts, inventive cocktails, an inviting crowd, and games — with NO COVER. Hosted live with energy and personality by Maine’s own Letta Dicken.
Is there a cover charge or ticket fee?

There is NO COVER — the event is free to attend for all guests (18+). If you want guaranteed seating, we offer optional VIP chair reservations for $7 due to limited seating capacity.
When and where is the viewing party?

The weekly Drag Race Season 18 viewing party happens every Friday at The Ugly Duckling — doors open at 7:00 PM (episode replay/social hour), and the main Season 18 viewing starts at 8:00 PM. Address: 246 Danforth St, Portland, ME.
Do I need to RSVP or buy tickets?

You can attend for free without RSVP. However, we recommend RSVPing so you’re notified of updates and can reserve a VIP chair if desired.
What happens at 7:00 PM?

Starting at 7:00 PM, we play the previous episode replay, serve food, desserts, and drinks, and guests can eat, socialize, and get comfortable before the live Season 18 viewing begins at 8:00 PM.

The event is hosted by Letta Dicken, Maine’s most inclusive and beloved drag performer. Unlike other parties, we combine high-energy hosting with top-tier food and drinks (including favorites from two-time James Beard Award finalist Ilma Lopez) and a truly welcoming atmosphere for everyone — LGBTQ+ and straight alike.
